The Kruger Street Toy & Train Museum, located at 144 Kruger Street in Wheeling, West Virginia was a stopping point for the World Harmony Run on Sunday, July 30th from 11:30 to Noon!!
The World Harmony Run is a global relay that seeks to promote international friendship and understanding. As a symbol of harmony, runners carry a flaming torch, passing it from hand to hand between members of thousands of local communities, travelling through over 70 nations around the globe.
The runners visit schools, community groups, running clubs, and local and national government organizations. At these stops they celebrate the goal of world harmony as well as recognize people in the community who work for harmony in their own special way.
The runners coming through Wheeling are currently on a four month trek across all 50 states, which will end on August 20th in New York City; Wheeling will be their only West Virginia stop on this journey.
