On Saturday, July 19, 2008, the museum’s newest exhibit, “the Revival of Marklin”, will be unveiled. The exhibit, which runs through October 26, 2008, will showcase the Marklin trains of the late Walter P. Griffith Sr, of California. Mr. Griffith was in the Army Air Corps and assisted Marklin Trains in getting back into toy production following World War II. These trains were given to him by Marklin in appreciation for his efforts on their behalf. The opening, which will run from 9 Am to noon on Saturday the 19th, will feature a chance to meet and talk to George Griffith, Walter’s son, about his very interesting father!
