Sept 2013 has been busy so far, and we are less then 2/3 of the way thru the month.
The Month started off with a beautiful weekend for Labor Day. We thank all of the visitors that stopped in the enjoy the last weekend of summer with us.
The following weekend Sept 7, The museum held it’s First Annual Building Extravaganza. While it was a small show, those that participated had a great time. We had plenty of toys with everyone to build with, as well as face painting and two local vendors that specialize in building toy items. Keep an eye out for our Brick Specific building show early in 2014!
Sept 9-14 proved to be an exciting week!! A Local Film crew was here on location. While the movie was not about the museum, many of the scenes will include parts of the museum. The movie is about Capt. Z.
Finally, sometimes the exhibit is not always in the museum, sometimes it is traveling and just happens to drive into the parking lot for a few hours. Sept 17, the Mountain State T’s (a group of WV Model T owners) while traveling as a group decided to take a tour of the museum. It was great to see the close to 20 Model T’s lining the front of the building.
