How about a turn back in time? The elegance of Victorian Wheeling and the bustling metropolis of days gone by. Remember the different parties and holidays of the time. On June 22th, 2024, we will be having a lady’s tea from 2-4. Price is $25, children $12.50. members price is $20. There will be an assortment of teas, finger foods and period suitable entertainment. Perfect for ladies of all ages. Reservations are required. Space is limited.

The opening of our Fairy Garden is this Saturday, May 4th starting at 7:00. All children that come to help us welcome back the fairies will receive a set of wings and a tutu, learn to plant a flower, hear a story, make fairy dust, and more. All adults accompanying the children are free. The cost is $20 for the first child and $15 for each additional child. You can come or call the museum during our operating hours, or buy tickets online on our shop page.

Create your own Fairy Garden Plot at a FREE event at the museum. Be a part of creating the Museum’s Fairy Garden. Enjoy an afternoon of painting, gluing, and imagination. Each child will make their own fairy plot that will be featured in the museum’s fairy garden this spring. All supplies are provided but we welcome you to bring items to make your fairy garden house special. Please RSVP for this event by calling the museum at (304) 242-8133. Admission to this event does not include the museum.

Explore the darkened museum by flashlight and find the missing eggs in this Easter themed mystery. Children and adults alike can hunt down and solve the mystery together. Easter themed treat bags for all to enjoy and an evening with the Easter Bunny. (This is a non-scary event, and the lights will be dimmed, not off.) $12 per person $7.50 for members. Times will be 6pm-8pm.
